December brings
with it long winter nights perfect for caroling, service projects, gift making,
secret Santas, and lots of good cheer! No wonder Christmas - the celebration of
the birth of our Savior – has been dubbed “The most wonderful time of the
year!” Amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, be sure to fit in some
preparedness. We can give preparedness gifts, and provide service that helps
someone else be prepared. Preparedness giving will include a second gift –
peace of mind. Knowing our families are prepared, both temporally and
spiritually, will provide our own peace as well as give peace to those who we
help. And isn’t that just what the angels sang of – “Peace on earth, good will
to men.” This year – give preparedness. This year – give Peace!
