April is finally here! Spring
has finally sprung, and even sends hints of summer being just around the
corner. Winter becomes a memory as we embrace longer and warmer days, celebrate
Easter, and rejoice in blooming bulbs and early flowers. This is a great month
to begin preparing for the harvest. Planting gardens today allows us to enjoy
delicious fruits and veggies all summer, and bottle up “summer goodness” for
the rest of the year. It is also a great time to restock 72-hour kits and
rotate water storage. A few minutes spent on “preparedness” today will provide
our families with necessities in the future. Keeping things rotated &
restocked means we can be as comfortable as possible if and when the promised
storms arrive. Our preparedness efforts give us peace of mind today for
whatever tomorrow may hold. Those “April Shower” preparedness steps will bring
“May Flower” preparedness and peace all year long.
