Welcome!

These monthly newsletters (from January 2011 to present) are to help us all be more prepared. They are written for the Hurricane Utah Stake (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,) but everyone is welcome to make copies. Many other groups and individuals are using them. (Note: Garden tips are for Southern Utah. You may need to adjust to fit your climate.)

Another baby New Year has rolled around, and Father Time has moved on, passing on both his timekeeping duties, and his aged wisdom. What did YOU learn in 2021 that will help you in 2022?  What goals will you make that will move you forward in your life progression? As we make our “New Year’s Resolutions” let us be sure to include preparedness goals, both spiritual and temporal. The new year holds the opportunity of growth and goodness for each of us. Our individual choices will determine the outcome of each year. We may not know what the future will hold in our society, economy, politics, weather, disasters, or personal adversities, but we CAN choose to Be Prepared for whatever sun shining days or storm filled nights that will come our way. Our peace and happiness does not depend on WHAT happens, but instead, how PREPARED we are for anything that does. May our 2022 be a Prepared one!

New Beginnings - PREP GOAL SETTING - ideas to set preparedness goals.

Disaster Prep - Winter Warnings - ideas to be prepared in cold winter disasters.
